American-made, real beef jerky. At Tuff Stuff, it’s the ideal we were founded upon when we started making jerky in 1983, and it remains our mission today. Made by good-ol’-boys in Browns Valley, CA, just north of Sacramento, our jerky is known for it’s tough bite and great taste.
Our jerky uses only real American beef and is made without preservatives—no added nitrates or msg, and is hickory wood smoked. Our approach to making jerky is not only healthier, it’s tastier too, since jerky with nitrates (like some other companies use) contains more water and less beef. Call us traditionalists, but we like our jerky the way jerky was meant to be, tough.
